Exigent Group Privacy Policy

Overview: The Exigent Group is dedicated to protecting the privacy of users of our website. We understand that access to your identity and personal information needs to be strictly guarded as part of the job search process. This Privacy Policy fully discloses the information gathering and privacy practices utilized by our website. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, but does not apply to information we collect in other ways. Nor does it apply to other websites that the Exigent Group does not own that are linked to from Exigent Group’s website. Exigent Group is not responsible for the content of these web sites or their privacy practices or policies.

Exigent Group employees have reviewed this Privacy Policy and must adhere to it. They understand the importance of high levels of security and discretion in all functions that deal with personal information.

Our website is intended to help professionals find jobs. The very nature of the services we provide necessitates the gathering, processing, analyzing, and distribution of certain information about job seekers, which may include information about their background, the type of job they seek, their physical address, phone number, email address, and resume.

Following is a description of how we collect information on our website, and how this information is used.

Job Seekers: On our website, we ask several questions regarding personal information about job seekers. Providing this information is completely voluntarily. We want to know these things about job seekers so we can assist them in finding employment.

When job seekers voluntarily provide information about themselves on our website, or upload their resume to us, we will make such information available to potential employers with the jobs seekers consent.

The name, address, and email address of job seekers are only for the use of The Exigent Group; it will not be shared or traded to any third party. The only exception to this is when a potential employer has reviewed information about a job seeker and expressed an interest in contacting that person.

The Exigent Group will delete any information about job seekers from our database if that person sends an email requesting to do so to: jobs@exigrp.com. However, any information previously supplied to a potential employer may be retained in their files.

Job seekers may apply for a job listed on our website, and upon doing so that person’s resume including his/her name and/or address, will be forwarded directly to the recruiter for that position. When this occurs, the Exigent Group will have a record of the job seeker having sent their resume to the recruiter for the position.

The Exigent Group will send job seekers periodic emails with items of interest about their job search. If a job seeker wishes to change the text of a submitted resume, she will need to submit a modified resume.

Potential Employers: Potential employers are required to provide specific information about their job opportunity in order to post a job opportunity. Some information will be available on the web site to be viewed by potential job seekers.

We will list job openings on our webpage. Job openings will not be listed here without the consent of the potential employer, and any job opening will be taken down at the potential employer’s request by sending an email to jobs@exigrp.com. Listings will contain a general job description, including location, but will not include the name of the potential employer or any contact information at the client company.

Third Party Partners: Exigent Group partners with various organizations to provide services to our clients (eg: background checks, drug test screening). If a candidate uses services from these third-parties, their information will be sent to those organizations.These organizations are governed by their own Privacy Policies and Terms of Use, and users should consult them so that they understand what information will be collected and how this information will be used. The Exigent Group does not control the privacy policies of these organizations.

Referral Fee Program: Our webpage contains an area where users may provide information about a candidate they would like to refer to the Exigent Group. We ask for the user’s name, address, email address and telephone number, as well as the contact information for the person being referred, including phone number and email address. When this occurs, we will contact the referred candidate.We do retain the information pertaining to both the referring individual and the referred candidate.

Cookies:The Exigent Group does not use cookies on our web-site for personalization or tracking purposes.

Sharing of Personal Information: We may access or disclose a user’s personal information if such action is necessary to comply with judicial, administrative or other governmental subpoenas, warrants, or where we deem necessary at our sole discretion in order to protect the safety of our users or members of the public.Except as described herein, the Exigent Group will not disclose a user’s personal information outside of the Exigent Group without that person’s consent.

Job Alerts: Visitors to our webpage may sign up to subscribe to our job alerts and or RSS feeds by providing their information. We will send out correspondence periodically by electronic mail, which will contain a functional unsubscribe mechanism.

Protection of Personal Information: The Exigent Group uses various technologies and procedures to protect users’ personal information from loss, misuse, or theft, but we cannot guarantee absolute security and cannot guarantee that third parties may not illegally obtain this information.

Minors :Our website is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under 18.

Change of Ownership: In the event of a change of ownership, a merger with, acquisition by, or sale of assets to another entity, or in the event we become the subject of a bankruptcy proceeding, whether voluntary or involuntary, the Exigent Group, or our trustee in bankruptcy, may sell, license or transfer all of the information we possess, including personal information about the users of our website. Users will be notified about such transfer in advance through a prominent posting on our website, and will have the opportunity to modify or delete their personal information at that time.

Enforcement: If users of this website have any comments, questions, or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, or believe we have not followed it, they should contact the Exigent Group at exigent@exigrp.com.

Changes to Privacy Policy: We will occasionally update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our services and client feedback. When we post changes to this Privacy Policy, we will revise the effective date at the top of this statement. If there are material changes to our Privacy Policy, we will provide notification beforehand by prominently posting a notice of such change on our webpage.
